Generally, with poor soils, one of the following is recommended:

• Do nothing, and hope the structure doesen't settle
• Undercut and Replace with Structural Fill
• Bypass the Problem with Piles or Deep Foundations
• Modify the Engineering Properties through Ground Improvement Techniques

Densification, Inc. personnel have experience in a wide range of ground improvement techniques however, we specialize in Dynamic Compaction consulting and contracting.  Our goal is to provide a unique combination of specialized engineering expertise and contracting experience for sucessful applications of Dynamic Compaction to questionable building sites.

Joe C. Drumheller, President of Densification, Inc., has performed more than 190 Dynamic Compaction projects. This represents approximately half of the entire Dynamic Compaction work done in the U.S. during the last 14 years. Mr. Drumheller also has 12 years experience with a major geotechnical consulting firm.
